Error "not a valid Windows CE setup file"

If you are installing the software to a PDA or Smartphone and you get the error "not a valid Windows CE setup file", download and install the latest Microsoft ActiveSync (version 4.1 or later). This should correct the problem. Head to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/default.mspx to update. Alternatively users of Windows Vista should head to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx to obtain "Windows Mobile Device Centre".

Option 2 if you don't wish to update ActiveSync is to manually copy the install file across. Head to C:\Program Files\Memory-Map\Navigator\PDA and copy the MMPocketNav.PPC2K_ARM.CAB file to your PDA (or MMPocketNav.SP.ARMV4.CAB if installing onto a WM SmartPhone). Simply tap to install.
