On Your PC

Operating system: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows 7.
Hardware: Pentium CPU or better, 32MB RAM, at least 800x600 display. The 3D feature requires an accelerated graphics card which is standard on most XP, Vista and Windows 7 machines.

Media: For map products supplied on DVD, you also need a DVD drive. If your Net Book does not have a DVD drive, you still need access to one so you can transfer the data to a portable memory stick/drive.

Storage: Between 5-10GB of free disk space is recommended for land mapping or 1-2GB for marine charts.

Mobile Devices

Windows Mobile 5 (SmartPhone and Pocket PC)

Windows Mobile 6 (Classic, Standard, and Professional)

Windows Mobile 2003. (SmartPhone and Pocket PC)

Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition (Pocket PC)

"Phone Editions" are also supported.

Devices running the Windows CE core operating system (typically PNDs or car navigators) are not supported but we have developed a version and ported it to some devices. This software is available on the Downloads page but is supplied on an "as is basis" with no guarantees that it will work satisfactory on any particular device.

iPhone Requirements: Compatible with iPhone and iPod touch.
Requires iPhone OS 3.1.2 or later.
