Orthophoto Coverage
In this Premium Edition we have combined and merged all available LINZ Orthphoto's to give a real bird's eye view of terrain and eye-popping 3D visuals.
Above is an area coverage map showing where the Orthophoto's currently cover. These areas and all areas in between are of course covered by the "Virtual Land" layer, LINZ Topo50 Topographical map and basemaps.
At a resolution of around 1 pixel to 2.5m, the Orthophoto is a great way to better visualise an area, see its vegetation, make out buildings, tracks and landmarks.
On September 23rd 2009 LINZ released an entirely new series of 1:50,000 scale topographical maps to replace the aging 260 map series.
Accordingly, Memory-Map released this entirely updated Topo range featuring not only these updated topographical maps, but also updated street maps together with a whole new software version.
